This activity forms the cultural assignment for students studying Indonesian at Year 8. The activity is designed to run for approximately 3-4 weeks, or around 12 periods.

Where access to computers is difficult, it could be spread out across a semester as a one period a week/fortnight activity.

Where access to computers is impossible for the class, the teacher can print out all of the data sources and pages from the webquest and conduct the webquest in a hardcopy format.

This project was run with the yr 8 Indonesian classes in conjunction with a visit to CERES, where they were able to experience some aspects of the culture that they had been investigating.

This webquest has been modified from it's original form after being run and evaluated. It has since been simplified to give the students better guidance in their research activities.
